so my trip to vegas/arizona was better than I expected. It was fun, and i loved seeing all the animals my aunt and uncle have. They had this baby cow that wasn't named yet, so they named it dancer for me! she's so cute. Vegas was nice b/c we stayed at the hotel we stay @ 4 nationals in vegas, and it was pretty much the same. our last night we stayed at the MGM grand...which is AMAZING! no joke.

k8e moved in thursday, then we had rehersal and a $|<@// sleepover @ fatty's. the next day we had an easter egg hunt, then katizzle and i practiced at the centre, and packed 4 competition.

competition went well. it was gr8 getting to see all of the dances in the first half. i'm usually too busy. my first number was temptation and wasn't until 2:30! it went REALLY well too. i was shocked. it got gold, jungle got high silver, unity got gold, goodnight saigon got gold, revolution got gold, i was hoping got high silver, bayao got gold, spiderman got gold, heartbreaker got gold, then solos. k8e got gold and 2nd place in rising star ages 13+, mary got gold and 3rd in the same category. there were a bunch of ppl in there category (6 or 7?) shawn won, paul wn the future star category ages 13+, i got gold on big time and dialate, andd i got 5th out of 25 w/dialate for All Star ages 13+. I was pretty pumped. (i lost to 4 amazing guys and an amazing girl*there was a tie*). overall it went pretty well. i'm very tired tho and i don't want school to happen at allllll.

I'm also wickedddd excited for tomorrow afternoon!!!!!1 blake mcgrath is teaching at DSOM and skam is going to try to take the class. i'm probably going to start crying i'll be so excited. wow. okay.

well here I am, back by popular demand...

I am leaving for arizona tomorrow. My mom's little sister is dying, and she wants to go say goodbye. I'm really sad, because my aunt and I are apparently identical (i've met her once), and it's my mom's only sister. I will be back late late Wednesday, and at reheresals Thursday, and competition saturday...

on a lighter note! i'm really excited for vacation. I have a crapload of english, but otherwise I have none! and i love not going to school. when i get back, k8e is staying at my house for a few days. I'm pretty excited for competition too. It will be a blast. I hope all of my chamer singer friends have a gr8 time on their cruise (i'm totally jealous!!)

so today, tyler taught us (okay so he told me he likes being in my profile, so i'm putting him in there). and it was fun, except i think vicky was in a bit of a bad mood at the beginning of classes. she got better by the staff meeting(which is the best thing ever). back to tyler teaching. so we're upstairs 'dancing' and nicole starts flipping on tyler for not doing anything. and they were bashing on each other. it was funi. we wanted them to have a dance-off, because it was on. 'til the break of dawn. but they didn't. (even tho paul was putting his money on Cole)

so basically, I love the Caddles. For so many reasons, especially because they're amazing and awesome and soo many other things. gah. i love them.

yeah so today we had a nursing home show. it was awesome b/c they have an ice-cream vending machine there. sweet action.

if you weren't informed, at 1:23 today, the date/time would be 1:23 4/5/06. weird. i thought it was amazing....but not as amazing as MICHAEL BUBLE. whom i saw in concert w/manda yesterday. i love him. lots.

tomorrow we have choreo. 4 i was hoping. for ever. and i'm getting my haircut. yay! i know you wanted to know. friday is amelia's play, and then saturday is another dance show! then sunday fatty and I are going w/vickerys to get pictures done. laura invited us to test out the new centre photographer and her new lighting equipment. for free! i'm wicked pumped(she does action shotssss!)

ok so i'm done for now i guess. stu. cou. is quite successful<--much to my surprise. who knows.

did you know break dancing is known as b-boying? a woman in her late 50s informed me of that at dance. that crazy teen lingo.

WOW. i really never update things. ever. Sorry I slacked off a lot, I'm sure thousands of people are distraught over a lack of update. Between Footloose and Competition, I guess i never found time for this. sorry! I promise a better and more detailed entry will follow. maybe during adv. digital media tomorrow...

lets see, what's new? i got 1st and 2nd on my solos, had an amazing run of Footloose, successfully assisted in k8e's surprise 16th bday party, started-and cheated-on lent, made it thru vacation, valentines day, had our jazz kids get 2 golds at competition, got a 38 on a math test (w/28 bonus points), read a book, and lots more. elaborating later.

tyler was gone last week. i missed his smell. is that weird? i think k8e did too. he met someone from SYTYCD2 i'm wicked jealous.

i taught a bratty little girl today. i almost killed her with my tap shoes. i love the little boy in my class b/c he's 5 and loves ballet.

i forgot how much i love rambling on in this journal, so i will do this more. now i'm off to make up part of temptation b/c i'm a good girl. (even tho it's 10 pm??)

hok so last week, SKAM went and got their pictures taken at sears (i have two of them on my myspace...) The photographer was wicked awesome. They liked one picture we took (the one w/props) so much that they put it up there. go check it out.

new years we performed at 'new years portland' it was fun except the floor was wicked slippery, and it sucked. then skam went ice skating. i should've been an ice skater. then we slept at katies and went to bed at 7 am. sweet action...

yesterday or so mrs. mccarthy told emily and i that the scholarship in honor of mr. bennett (the one we've basically been raising $$ for indepently) has gotten a annual donation of $6,700!! i'm so psyched.

so i'm not really sure what to write. i'm not very funny. well today katie was obsessed with trying to one up me. :-P i'm going to make you need ibuprofen katie.

we were naming flame colors yesterday, and i really wanted to name something whimsical purple. or whimsical anything. I like the word 'whimsical'. I also like the word 'slalom' (spelling?) come on, say it out loud: 'slalom'. how can that not be a fun word to say. my british author (george eliot slash mary ann evans) used eliot as her pen name b/c it was a 'mouth filling, easily pronounceable word'. i never thought that. oh well.

soooo it's been quite the eventful christmas!!

my cousins visited on christmas eve, then after they left, we opened our gifts! here's the reason why we open our gifts on christmas eve: when i was younger, we used to go to my nana's (mom's mom's) house the sunday before christmas. then christmas day, we would drive to my gandmother's house (dad's mom's). We only thought that christmas eve was a good time to open gifts, and even though we didn't go to my nana's b/c she was in arizona, and we didn't go to my grandmother's b/c she isn't alive anymore, we still open them christmas eve. wow. p.s. i also get to sleep in christmas day which is nice. (and on christmas day my family does stupid stuff like go see the producers at 7 at night and laugh hysterically.)

I got a bunch of dvds and a few books and stuff for christmas, but the highlight, was definitely MY NEW IPOD VIDEO!!!! :-P you're allll jealous. lol

TODAY IS MY HALF-BIRTHDAY EVERYONE. beat that.

So far: I went to see beauty and the beast, auditioned and got into Footloose:The Musical at school, started vacation, handed out presents, and did lots of other stuff since I last updated.

I'm pretty excited for Christmas, and I hope everyone has an awesome Christmas too. My cousins are coming over tomorrow, and i haven't seen them in about 3 years. crazy. This means I probably wont see katie and manda at church tomorrow, which ruins our christmas eve traditions. :-(

I wish i had really interesting or witty things to say right now, but I'm out. I got a 99 on my chemistry skit? yay! and it counts for 2 test grades. ha. okay well i'm really bored and leaving now...

So our L.L.Bean shows were fun. After I went to Emily's concert, but i left early b/c i was veryy tired.

This week has been kind of sucky btw. mainly because i LOST MY iPOD!! wow. (i'm still in withdrawl)

sooo... snow day friday. that was cool. no dance though, that was not as cool. then we had dance saturday. and i went to see everyone in "A Wonderful Life", and almost had a sleepover w/manda for the 3rd weekend in a row. but I had homework, and so did she. and i was going to freeport this morning. (i got so much shopping done!!!)

only 9 days left of school.

and now for something completely different: so katie and i braved the masses of people and went to Freeport the day after thanksgiving. that's right folks, i went shopping on black friday. We spent forever in the A&F outlet, mainly because it smells amazing in there. hahaha. then i bought a $12 sweater (originally $55!!), and stuff at the GAP. woot. then she came over and we choreographed our kids' jazz dance. we're amazing.

saturrrrrday after dance manda and i went to see harry potter! (it's about time!!) i was so excited. i'm going to have to see it like 4578576874 more times. now. (p.s. i hate when i'm laughing hysterically at something in the movie and the people around us are not finidng the particular moment funi at all.) then i slept over and we had mucho fun. **also alyssa was at dance saturday. :-D **

yesterday at newbury comics there was this napoleon dynamite flip book of his dance. it was called "flippin' sweet". it was flippin' sweet.

katie caddle has springfield this weekend. GOOD LUCK KATIE!! I LOVE YOU!! :-)

manda's sleeping over tomorrow b/c we're doing a show for L.L. Bean early sunday morning. not yay. we have to be in biddeford by 7:30. a little ridiculous to say the least. plus it's hoofers. and we wear goofy hats. that's right. goofy elf hats.

on thursday emily and i hated certain seniors on student council because they were being wayy inconsiderate. (does that make sense??) i was running the meeting, brought up a greivance that was told to me, and they mocked it. it wasn't even our grievance, and we were still fighting them on it. I thought screms was going to jump over the table and beat up ppl. but then mr. caulfield showed up and told them they were wrong. basically.

ok i need to not write as much. i have a crapload of homework this weekend and no time to do it...

honestly i have nothing new to talk about. I went to finer pointes with manda on wednesday? that's it. yesterday was thanksgiving, and we stayed home. I read a book called "a million little pieces" by james frey. it was 500ish pages, but still good.

despite my hatred for shopping on the day after thanksgiving, i might actually go to freeport. weird! i really need to get started with christmas presents before i get too busy!

yesterday my parents and i played scattegories. i lost. miserably. usually i win! we had the letter "L" and the subject was "hobbies". both my mother and i put down "lanyard making". who writes that? i thought i was clever (and immediately thought of napoleon dynamite), but i was far from it. oh well.
