(how creepy of a title is that?!)

there used to be a time when i had time and updated my blog constantly. This time is not now. I have dance basically all the time, and i haven't updated much, (or at all) and I am sorry for that. Even though I realize people still don't read this.

so. there's been so much stuff that has happened since school started. It's been crazy! First quarter just ended, and I'm mad b/c i had 97 97 96 96 95 and then a 92! come on now, my pre-cal grade couldn't have been a 93?! oh well. 96 in AP english. yesss. (p.s. i don't remember the last time i got a 96 in ANY science class).

We have our first dance competition this weekend. I'm not too excited. We have a class fundraiser this saturday too. (which WILL fail. no doubt.)

Last weekend was the Festival of Feet! tyler is a big loser and i wish he wasn't my jazz teacher. (haha just kidding Tyler. I was just putting that there to see if you would catch it) It went pretty well, and I was SO excited that Alyssa came back. she's soo awesome. (i love katie caddle too)

we also had an insane $|<@/\/\ sleepover before the show last weekend, and (for once) i beat shannon at the "staying awake all night" game. ha. i think i went to bed at 7 AM? sounds good enough. woke up in time to eat and go to dance at 3. lol. p.s. i totally made myself a leotard by cutting this totally rad unitard that vicky was throwing out. woot.

Hi everybody! I'm sort of stuck here, and I would totally appreciate any help...

Mrs. Gnidziejko called me last week and asked me to find people to help on the (incoming) Freshmen's first day. She is looking for about 35 kids to help, and I have about 10 student council members so far, and a few NHS members. The planning meeting is this Friday (August 26th), and is from 11:30-12:30. There will be pizza provided. I know there are a lot of problems with kids having sports practice, so I don't think it is a big deal if you cannot go to the meeting, just as long as you show up on the 1st. tuesday i went to Funtown w/skam and kelly and some of kelly's friends. it was pretty cool. wednesday was busy, and i had dance 6-8:30, which ended up being 9 b/c vicky never stops talking! then today k8e, amanda and i went shopping 4 adam's bday party(tomorrow). it was grrreat!

tomorrow is adam's partay 11-5, then off to lucinda's, and sleeping @ k8e's. skam sleepover. yay.

rufus wainwright is my favorite person ever btw. right after jason mraz.

wow, i can't believe i haven't updated...

well, i got my wisdom teeth out (and survived), helped with dance camps, took dance camps, spent almost every day with manda. lets see any highlights... went to katie vanderburgh's birthday party. saw a bunch of awesome ppl. started/finished drivers ed. woot. went to OOB a bunch. OH! harry potter came out! lol. i went to amanda's uncle (tom allen)'s house one day, went to jen/nicole's bday party, went to a red sox game last wednesday (the one where manny and renterria collided), went to the ben folds/rufus wainwright concert in boston last friday (!!). it's been pretty crazy!

apparently vicky has a new guy teaching jazz this year. i haven't heard much about him, but he does have a website: www.tylerwing.com i'm really nervous to have him for a teacher...

nothing new recently. it's basically the first week i've had free all summer. weird. i only have dance 2 nights this week, and one is just helping with a little class for heidi.

back from NYC :-(

it was amazing!! how to start...Ballet Seminar was actually a lot of fun. I met a lot of people, and I learned a lot from the whole thing. In between classes, my classes at Tap City were pretty cool. The one youth class i took was really stupid, but the master classes weren't bad. the class with randy skinner (he choreographed the revival of 42nd street) was really great. The show we did for tap city was really unorganized. we were really disappointed b/c we thought it would be a lot more exciting.

competition for me was really hectic, because ballet sem. got in the way. ballet sem. went for 6 days, and was 8 1/2 hours long each day (actually like 7 1/2 w/the breaks), and was really hard to get out of. I got a gold on my tap solo, silver on my jazz, gold on both run around and deuling banjos, silver on time after time. lets see, um silver on hallelujah and thru my eyes, gold on curbside prophet, abundance and moondance. tangled up in me (the dance katie and i choreographed) got gold!! it was the first national gold for 3 of them!!!!! that was probably the most exciting thing for me.

I went to see sweet charity (for $26!!!!) and sat 6 rows from the stage! Later i went to see movin' out, which was cool. I didn't do much otherwise. during my free time I didn't do much. I didn't see most of my friends, b/c they basically hung out togehter. I did go see the statue of liberty, and went to capezio and H&M, and the manhattan mall. I spent a ton of time with caitlin this trip, and I had a lot of fun. we were both stuck in the room by ourselves, so we went wandering a lot. like yesterday, we just left the hotel and went shopping. it was great. we didn't even get caught!

I had so much fun dancing, I really didn't want to leave...I made a lot of friends too, and I saw some amazing dancers/dances. (not FAME) Banquet was okay i guess. moondance was on the big tv things. that was cool. adam won title, amelia got 3rd (out of 3). manda and i didn't even place in platinum night. they were all cheap this year, and did everything 12 and under and 13 and over. if they did it by categories, we would have placed for a bunch of dances. major disappointment.

oh well, not much else to say! i missed all of my cmct friends that didn't come this year! maybe next year? i missed everyone...

IT'S MY 16TH BIRTHDAY!!!!! :-D well, this has truly been my best birthday ever. I got a vera bradley bag and some tickets to rufus wainright/ben folds tickets today. :-)

I am so psyched for NYC!!!!!!! I hope i don't look like a total failure at ballet seminar...

wow! so much has happened since i last wrote here!

where to start...recital! ok um, it went alright. I messed up 3 times in 42nd street and i never usually mess it up. i was really bummed. sunday was a great deal better i think. i heard goodnight saigon and phantom were really really impressive. sweet! after both shows, a bunch of us went to friendly's. we were so loud. especially friday. we had like 20-something ppl there.

this week is peep week at the centre. I went to a peep carnival yesterday. it was so sad, but i had nothing better to do with myself...

tuesday me and manda slept over at k8e's. then we had dance wednesday morning, walked to k8e's, then shan cam over. we were walking back to the centre, and we were a little past the municipal building, when this car started slowing down behind us. we got so creeped out, then realized it was my mom. :-P

after the peep party thing, my dad picked me up and told me he had to go to the dump, then we were driving past the PTA building, and there was a surprise 16th b-day party there for me!! :-D i was soooooo excited! I couldn't believe everyone kept such a big secret!! I got some awesome gifts, and had such a blast! Thanks to everyone who came, and I'm sorry to those who couldn't come...

only 4 days until NYC, and i need to work on secret buddy stuff...

RECITAL TIME! (almost), and crazy finals time. I totally failed my hardest tests today. woot. oh and i have an ear infection. sweet. oh well, it's only recital weekend...

recital dates/times:

SATURDAY AND SUNDAY JUNE 18th and 19th

at 5 o'clock BOTH NIGHTS (they are totally different shows)

each show is $6 and it is at SOUTH PORTLAND HIGH SCHOOL

PLEASE TRY TO COME! it would mean so much to me! really :-)

Katie Caddle and I decided I was moving in. We were going to take alyssa's room, make one huge bed, and take all the closets, then turn her room into a rave room. yesss. we even have a tricky bracelet situation worked out ;-)

btw, the scariest moment of my life today: during 42nd street, there is this creepy beginning to a dance involving the words "scanties" and "panties", and are acted out by paul and samantha. Vicky was standing in for samantha today. I think you all get the picture. creeeeepy!

Um, i haven't written in a while, but no one reads it anyway, so it's ok...

I'm totally enjoying this new heat-wave!! today we're getting a new couch (!), I'm performing at a nursing home, then going to chrissie's and sammie's graduation parties.

this week and next are dance-crazy. seriously. monday 5-9, tuesday 5-9:30, wednesday 5-10, friday 3-10! Then recital on the 17th and 18th!

lets see, what's new...last weekend skam had a sleepover at manda's. it was so much fun. friday we went to westbrook days, OOB, then slept until dance saturday, then i had a g.s. thing sunday.

Hey everyone, my 16th birthday is coming up (sort of)! (it's the 26th if anyone wants to know...) I'm leaving for NYC the 27th, and i am so psyched.

my cousin and aunt (from georgia) came for dinner last night. that was fun. it was kind of sad. thursday night i was cleaning my room, and i was looking at my collage I made for Jessie. I was feeling really sad. We have grown apart now (since she's in Montana and everything), but it makes me sad b/c she was such a big part of my life. Then they kept talking about my grandmother at dinner, and it made me so uncomfortable.

i promise i'm done being depressing

Katie Caddle has been my favorite person this week. We get to see each other every day b/c of the rehersal schedule, and I love hanging out with such a cool person!! :-D

i haven't written in a while!

hmm, talent show was um, good? the sound was really bad, but it's okay...the rest of the week was boring, and game day went well i think. i made $25 teaching dance for the rec. department. sweet. (it was really awkward getting there, i rode w/john and keegan...).

friday was shannon and kelly's birthdays! skam came over and we had "birthday brownies". lol. saturday was a busy busy dance day. we finished choreographing (me and katie) our 2 jazz classes' dances. then the movie party. that was fun? i think i irritated everyone by reading the (subtitles) w/andrew. oh well. yesterday i went to star wars (finally) w/my family and manda and celeste. today we bought a couch and went to cold stone creamery. yummm!

i really cannot wait until school ends. that means recital, and then NYC FOR TWO WEEKS!! i am sooooooo excited. i'm even getting excited for ballet sem. weird.

oh man, there was this problem w/tap city this week. but vicky is going to fix it :-D
